Yunxi Shuai

Yunxi Shuai supports with her knowledge and experience the department providing legal services to Polish entrepreneurs operating in China. Her professional and scientific interests revolve around issues on the borderline between domestic and international law. In particular, she specializes in private international law, civil law and civil procedure, international commercial law.
She has multifaceted experience gained both in Poland and China in public institutions, law firms and international cooperation. She started her professional adventure in law at the District Court in Krakow and at one of the largest law firms in Wroclaw, where she served her internship. Moreover, she has cooperated with Polish and Chinese institutions and enterprises, including as a Polish-Chinese interpreter, e.g. during the Lubuskie Province delegation to Hainan Expo 2025.
Yunxi Shuai participated in the prestigious PAX Moot Court competition in Paris (2022) as a member of the Jagiellonian University representation.
Yunxi Shuai believes that law is an extremely interesting and practical field. In connection with the dynamically developing cooperation between Poland and China, she sees a growing demand for specialists with knowledge of both Polish and Chinese law. She appreciates challenges and direct contact with people. She joined the team with the intention of developing her own competence and supporting companies from both countries in solving legal problems.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University and a bachelor’s degree in Polish philology at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
During her academic education, she has participated in numerous international projects:
- One-year academic exchange at Erasmus University in Rotterdam (2022) – Erasmus+ scholarship
- One-year exchange at Jagiellonian University (2016) – state scholarship
- School of Chinese Law and Culture – East China University of Political Science and Law (2021)
- Summer specialized programs – Hague Academy of International Law and Academy of European Law (Trier, 2021)
Honored at the Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University (2023), and winner:
- The 8th edition of the Competition for the best thesis on contemporary economic cooperation of the Republic of Poland with China (2024)
- INTERSTUDENT Special Award – the best foreign student in Poland (2022)
In her free time, she enjoys playing ping-pong and badminton, watching adventure and crime movies, and traveling and exploring interesting places while trying local food.
She speaks Chinese, English, Polish (advanced level) and French (basic level).
