Michał Broniewicz
Attorney-at-law of counselMichał is an attorney-at-law, who specializes in the administrative law including matters related to the business law, the intellectual property law with a particular focus on the IT topics, and in the labour law. Michał successfully represents his clients in the civil litigation as well as before administrative courts.
He is experienced in dealing with the IT industry entities, including the creation and negotiation of contracts, as well as the related transfer of intellectual property rights. Michał also has a wide knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR, and e-commerce-related regulations, which allows him to provide comprehensive legal services for business ventures involving e-commerce, but also to advise on the development of privacy and data security policies or compliance audits.
He also deals with employment law, including ongoing support for HR departments, the creation of employee documentation, the termination of employment relationships, the representation of employers in the collective labour law negotiations and the representation of clients before employment courts. He has successfully prosecuted a number of bullying cases and anti-discrimination policies.
His broad interests, from painting to industrial technology, allow him to better understand intellectual property law with particular emphasis on copyright.
Graduated in law from Jagiellonian University and completed postgraduate studies in the New Technology Law at Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw. From the beginning of his studies, he worked at law offices in Krakow, where he dealt with cases related to labour law and intellectual property law.
From 2018 to 2023, he worked at the Polish SME Ombudsman’s Office, first as a specialist, then as a legal advisor. During his time at the Ombudsman’s Office, he acquired valuable experience in the administrative and the tax law and successfully undertook litigation activities in protecting the interests of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
Privately, he is interested in history and culture in its broadest sense. Passionate about new technologies including artificial intelligence solutions or blockchain technology. His broad interests, from painting to industrial technology, allow him to better understand intellectual property law with particular emphasis on copyright. He spends his free time in the mountains or playing the bass guitar. He is passionate about the game of chess.
