A few years ago, a leading multinational automotive company with a presence in China faced a potential class action lawsuit that threatened all of its imported machinery (the “Automobile Company”). The entity’s survival was at stake. The company was pessimistic in light of the advice of its then-legal adviser, a law firm much larger than Hanglung Law. However, Hanglung Law was able to gain the Automobile Company’s trust through an aggressive, proactive, and sophisticated strategy. The strategy worked for dozens of lawsuits and negotiations with end users, dealers, and local government authorities. The whole process took about three years and covered several provinces. We helped to effectively secure the interests of the company and its dealers, both from a legal and commercial point of view.
